Truly a great piece of artwork you've created. May I use it as a character avatar for a D&D role-playgroup? That's a message board, and 2002 video game. Of course a link to your page here would go hand in hand with it.
I agree with Kaloith, I wish I were an artist of your caliber. My talent lies in the writing though! That's what I post here on DA. I let all you talented folks take care of the illustrations for me! This is looking wicked cool, by the way.
Very well done. The red cape definitely enhances the definition of the armor. I'm assuming that the top has plates so that she may bend more easily...? Definitely something to consider. However, the hair and leg armor are a bit impractical. The hair is going to get in her face. Especially hair like that which often has a mind of its own. XD I also feel like her upper thighs are going to offer a weakness in battle. Easy to hit and therefore hinder. Just somethings to consider, but it is good work.
Actually, since women can't favor strength in battle, they tend to do whatever they can for agility. Why hit hard when you can hit very very fast? It wouldn't be unfeasable for a woman to actually fight nearly nude with armor specifically protecting vital areas, like the heart, or the shoulder of their sword arm, just so they don't lose mobility. Fantastic job. ^.^
