Another commission piece. This one, I'd say i spent around 20 hours or so on it, give or take. Had a lot of fun with it, ended up changing the pose around quite a bit before settling on the final look.

As usual comment and critique as you wish.

Just want to say a big thanks to StandAlone. I love the piece and to anyone thinking about getting a commission, if you have the extra coin, just do it already!
Again thanks and you were great to work with, good luck in your future endeavors.

Your artwork is nothing short of fantastic, but I do have a suggestion that might (or might not) work for you in regards to lightsabers.

make three layers of the blade (with no effects added) then give the top layer a white outer glow, not to much but enough that it sortof blurs with the second layer which is the blades color, naturally this layer's glow is wider than the first. The third layer's glow is wider still but is a darker shade of the blade's color to give a cool blend effect with the backdrop.

I hope that didn't confuse you and by all means take no heed of it if you so wish, it's merely a technique I find to look really cool on lasers in general and I thought you might like to know about it (if you already didn't)

Hey thanks a lot for the comments, I sort of get what your saying, a little confusing lol, but I'll give the technique a shot sometime.

thanks for sharing
