Hey guys, took a little longer than anticipated but finally completed the video.

The painting itself I completed earlier last week and once again was another piece inspired by LOTR. Spent a total of 9hrs on it.

Feel free to download the video below. It's a little large (544mb), but the movie itself is around 110mintues. It also was produced in .mov format so you'll probably need quicktime player or Itunes to view it.

I tried my best to explain what I'm doing in various areas of the painting, as well as to why I'm doing it that way. For any of you that do end up watching the video, feel free to leave feedback on that as well. This is my first one, but I'm looking to do more of these in the future, so any suggestions you guys might have on improving them I would love to hear.

[changes] Edited the video to increase the overall sound quality and raised the volume a bit for some people who were having sound issues. Feel free to check out the new version below.

Awesome tutorial, it really helped. Just a few questions: how do you switch from paint brush to eyedropper so quickly? Is there a special button or something? And where did you get all the texture brushes from? I don't have any. Are they in a special hard to find menu? My photoshop is CS5, it should be more advanced, right?

you can search brushes using google, yahoo, etc.
psdtutorials.com has also a large useful offer..
if you downloaded some brushes,
just double-click on them and they will be installed.
you can find them afterwards in the brushes library ;]

Thanks! : D I installed some myself, but most are really... not practical. I mean, who would want a whole waterfall for a brush!
