Haven't been able to post anything recently as I've been working on a couple paintings at the same time so they're taking a little longer to finish up. Finally got around to at least finishing one of them up though.

This one was done by request, you can find more on her here if you wish - > [link]

Overall time spent 20hrs give or take. Feel free to comment and critique as you wish.

Barring a anatomical error or two, the coloring, lighting and pose of the character in this is very eyecatching! I love her design.

I love all the pictures you do! All have such incredible unique traits that make them brilliant. Generally what size of a picture do you work with though? I try to aim for a 2,000 pixel height and 1,200 wide, but even then it seems the picture isn't big enough. Anyways, I'll continue to drool over every picture. =D

Thanks a lot for the compliments Jake. I usually start out at 2550x3300 on most of my images, than dec/inc the size or crop some areas when I think its needed.

Smart. Do you find 2250x3300 just looks good? Or is there a reason for it?

And sorry for asking all these questions, but if you don't mind answering another, do you hand sketch the picture first? Or draw straight from the computer?
